Don't Fight the Powers that Be Busking!
Hound of the Buskervilles (three of us, that is, Phil, Eddie, and Marty) arose early one morning to talk about Kentucky Music Weekend and play some music on WHAS-TV's morning program, Great Day Live. Click to hear us talk (just a bit) and play. Oh, there are two links. First we play our song about mountain songs, " Bitter Angels," then we pay tribute to Stephen Foster with "American Hotel," Carl Brouse's song about Foster's final hours, in a New York City hotel.

Busking under the Stars: Saturday at the Barret Bar
The Patio at the Barret Bar & Grill is a brick-lined haven that's among the city's most comfortable outdoor music venues - the perfect place to settle back with a brew, some great pub food (Klaus's Pretzel Bread, house-smoked meats, great sandwiches), and the intricate acoustic sound of Hound of the Buskervilles.
The Saturday night forecast calls for perfect busking weather under a crescent moon. The music starts at 9 pm (a few minutes after sundown) and runs until midnight.
Please join Phil, Eddie, Dan and Marty for a special night!
Saturday August 15, 9-midnight.
