On the Homefront - May 9, 2015.
Join us May 9 for an evening of music and storytelling as Kentucky Homefront records two shows for later broadcast before a live audience at the at Clifton Center.
We're excited to be part of a bill with musicians we love to hear.
The first show opens with our friend friend Eddie Burch, an extraordinary songwriter who is making his Homefront debut Eddie is an extraordinary singer-songwriter whose literate, thoughtful lyrics and intricate guitar style are not to be missed.
We'll perform during the second half of the first hour.
The second show shifts musical gears to focus on the exciting sounds of Americana as shaped by great local exponents of the style, Justin Paul Lewis and Slow Down Johnny.
Col. Bob Thompson will be on hand to tell a story or two.
And of course it wouldn't be Kentucky Homefront without Louisville's own folk bard, John Gage.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets: $12; $5 for students and folks under 18.
The Clifton Center is at 2117 Payne Street.
